About IELTS Exam
The IELTS test evaluates your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills in less than 3 hours.
Well, there are two kinds of IELTS: Academic and General Training. All test takers take similar Listening and Speaking tests but different Reading and Writing tests. Make sure that you qualify for the correct test type.
The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections of all IELTS tests are completed on the same day, with no breaks between them.
However, the Speaking section can be completed up to a week before or after the other tests. The whole test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
In Listening, it is most important to keep in mind that recording is played once. Listen to the recording carefully and focus on answers. If your earphones are not working correctly, raise your hand.
In the reading module, examine every detail on the question paper. Understand the question carefully, and focus on finding answers. If you can not understand the question well, move to next, don't waste time; you can come back later.
In writing, divide your time smartly, 20 minutes for task 1 and 40 minutes for task 2. Try to write 150+ words for Task 1 and 250+ words for task 2.
For speaking, speak clearly (slow and fluently). Listen to the question carefully and answer it directly. Do not take long pauses. Be confident while speaking.
